Simple, Inexpensive Ways to Organize Your Home
When you think of organizing your home do the thoughts big expense and big time commitment come to mind? It can be stressful to even know where to start. I have found some inexpensive ways to organize your home. Some of them are home organizing products and some are organizing websites.
- I found a few items at the Ikea furniture store last weekend. I found some pretty floral tins that were only around $5.00. I am using them in my bathroom to hold Q-tips, cotton balls, and paper cups.
- I also bought some simple wooden spice racks. I was inspired by a few things I saw on pinterest. I put one in my kids bathroom to help get rid of some of the clutter on the counter. They are both teenagers now! I am also going to put one up in the kitchen for spices. They are also great to keep all your children’s books in one place
- The Better Homes and Garden’s website has many useful resources as well. I printed out their labels and used them for my plastic canisters in my pantry. Free printable storage labels can be found here. (http://www.bhg.com/decorating/storage/organization-basics/free-printable-storage-labels/)
- I really like the website www.organizinghome.com. They have a lot of printable lists. I also use their household notebook. www.Moneysavingmom.com also has some wonderful resources. I especially like the freezer cooking planners and the daily docket which can be found under household management forms.
These are just a few simple ways I like to keep things organized at my house. What ways do you like to organize?
