Career Step: Quality Online Education for Military Spouses
In today’s economy it is necessary to continue your education beyond high school. As a military spouse, this goal can be difficult with PCS’s and deployment of our spouses. In addition, the cost of higher education is rising and it may feel like a financial impossibility.

Quality Online Education for Military Spouses
Did you know that when enrolled at Career Step, MyCAA tuition can cover full tuition on select courses for qualified Military spouses? I didn’t know that when my husband was E-5 and below. I wish I did because using MyCAA would have been a blessing in helping to fund my college degree.
If your spouse is E1-E5, W1-W2 or 01-02 WO1 and you are considering online courses than this program is for YOU!
Don’t miss out on a great benefit and the ability to better yourself, get that job you have dreaming about and put your family in a better financial situation.
*UPDATE 2/6/13- Please do not register, attend or sign up for ANY school or program before YOU research the company, program and make up your OWN mind. I have not personally attended Career Step or used MyCAA. However, I do personally know numerous military spouses who have had their classes funded by MyCAA and used the program at Career Step and other online schools.
What is MyCAA?
The MyCAA funding program offers eligible military spouses $4,000 to put toward training that will help you gain the skills you need to find jobs in growing career fields that have opportunities nationwide and can transfer with you
- Available to spouses of active duty service members in pay grades E1-E5, W1-W2, and O1-O2.
- Available to spouses of activated Guard and Reserve members within those ranks.
- Spouses of Guard and Reserve members must be able to start and complete their courses while their sponsor is on Title 10 orders

Hi MommyHH6,
Over time I have enjoyed reading your website, however, this entry is leaving me with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth so I need to ask: Are you receiving any type of compensation, monetarily or otherwise by promoting the training programs at CareerStep? The reason I ask is if you dig a little deeper you will find an overwhelming number of rip-off reports filed against this company. Here is the link to one of them:

Wow! I have heard great things about CareerStep and other programs that are funded through this program for military spouses. So many military spouses are able to get certifications and knowledge for job qualifications they would have never been able to afford. I was compensated for this post as per the disclaimer. However, I only accepted the assignment and posted because it is a great opportunity for military spouses.
Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention and I will also be taking the post down at the end of the day. Thank you so much Rachel.
